South Korea billing address generator
Generate Korean billing address details with road name, building number, city/district, and 5-digit postcode.

Address information
Korean billing and shipping now default to road-name addresses: city/do, district, road name, building number, plus a 5-digit postcode. The older dong + lot number system is separate and most online forms no longer want the lot number as the primary line.
This pool is aggregated from the official Korean road-name database. The English UI still shows Korean road names. Names stay family-name first, for example 김서연.
How a Korean address is written
A current one-liner looks like “서울특별시 강남구 테헤란로 152 (06236)”.
- Field order
- Write the metropolitan city or do, then the district, then the road name and building number. Unit, floor, and room go in the detail line. The 5-digit postcode can sit in parentheses or in its own field.
- Postcode
- Current codes are five digits. The old six-digit system ended in 2015. 06236 is a typical Gangnam range. Do not enter a Japanese 7-digit code or a US ZIP+4.
- Road name vs lot number
- 테헤란로 152 is a road name plus number. A lot-number address such as 역삼동 123-4 does not belong in the road field. This page prefers road names because that is how the official source is organised.
- Common address mistakes
- Do not mix romanization (Teheran-ro) and Hangul on one line. Some overseas forms want English only; this page does not guarantee the official English road-name file. Country is KR / South Korea.

FAQ
Why is the English page still in Korean?
The Korea pool is official Hangul road names. UI language does not translate the road. An English road-name pack is not wired in yet.
How do I use a Korean billing address for a payment?
Check the road name, building number, city/district, and 5-digit postcode against the address registered with the merchant or card issuer. Correct formatting alone does not establish a billing match; this generator does not access your account records.
Do postcode and district match?
Official rows were aggregated with their postcodes. Choosing a city/do keeps draws there.
The form still asks for eup/myeon/dong.
Older forms may want the administrative dong. This page’s primary line is the road name; do not paste the road into the dong box.
How do I split the name?
The family name comes first. In 김서연, 김 is the surname and 서연 is the given name. Do not split a one-syllable surname incorrectly.
Billing address details
- A Korean address should include road name, building number, city/district, and 5-digit postcode.
- Check the billing address registered on your account before paying. A shipping address may be different.
